Cooking-resistant and easy-to-tear lids, as the name suggests, means that after the easy-to-tear lids and the filled can body are sealed, they need to withstand high temperature and high pressure sterilization. Therefore, the sealing strength and corrosion resistance of such lids must meet higher requirements.

The presence of the extraction hole resulted in an internal cut in the lid. In the past, the incision was hidden by the inner crimping method and had a sufficient closed lap width, which to a certain extent could prevent the liquid from immersing into the inside of the roll and corrode after high-temperature sterilization, and then spread to the outside of the roll, thus causing metal ions to penetrate into the food. , affecting the flavor and quality of the contents. However, the above methods cannot completely isolate the erosion of corrosive liquids or gases, and are not safe for highly corrosive products such as high acidity, high sulfur, and high chlorine. This safety concern limits the application of cooking-resistant and easy-tear lids in the canning industry.

In-line glue injection is achieved with a high-speed glue gun (Figure 4). The working principle is that sealant is injected into the inner wall of the deep-drawn cover ring, and the cut surface is embedded in the sealant after crimping, so as to avoid the corrosion of the cut caused by the infiltration of corrosive medium.
