What’s the square can?

It is made of three pieces of metal sheet (mostly tinplate), the can body, the bottom and the lid. The can is square shaped. The body of the can has embossing on all sides, and on four corners. The big square can range: capacity 15-20L, diagonal 300-320mm, height 220-400mm.

Big square can fully automatic production line operating process

Roller by vacuum sucker unit. Single metal sheet will be made bending process by sending from feedstock roller to deflection roller, then will be sent into the forming unit to be curled to round can body. The can body is fed into the resistance welding machine, and the resistance welding is carried out after accurate positioning. After welding, the can body is automatically fed into the receiving frame of the coating machine. There are two kinds coating machine: spraying type and rolling coating type, which are available for users to choose. It is mainly used to prevent the welding seam from contacting air and causing rust. The can body is fed to the combination machine of big square can body, Which will be in an upright state through the can standing device, and then the can body is sent to the automatic indexing unit in the first procedure by clamping device.The second procedure is expanding and forming, When it reaches the can feeding platform, the can body is sent to expanding station to finish the square forming procedure. The third procedure is to make panel and corner embossing. the can body is sent to the embossing staion to finish the panel and coner embossing procedures by the platform controlled by the servo motor. The fourth procedure is the can top flanging, the fifth procedure is the can bottom flanging.

The bottom flanging: the can will be sent to the flanging bottom die lied on the upper part of the machine by tray platform to make it. The top flanging:the upper cylinder will press the can body to the position of top flanging die to make it. The top and bottom can body flanges are each driven by four cylinders. The sixth procedure is automatic induction of lid feeding and automatic sealing. After the above six procedures, the can body is rolled out to the turning over device to reverse the can up and bottom. and the automatic induction of lid feeding and sealing of the can is carried out again.
